Meet The Team- Team Testers (Rail)

Today we would like to introduce you to some of our rail signalling recruiters and this time is the turn of our Test Team.

We are the biggest agency supplier of Signal Works Testers in the UK and we have over 250 Signal Works testers Certificate of Competence on the Network Rail database. We can supply testing resource throughout the UK for long term or short term requirements so the girls are definitely kept busy.

How long have you been working at MPI?

Natalie: I started at MPI in March 2020, so coming up to 5 years!

Laila: I have been working at MPI 10 months.

What do you enjoy most about your role, and what does a typical day look like for you?

Natalie: On team test, I work closely with Laila so our days are very similar. My day usually consists of speaking to our clients regarding their staffing requirements and then contacting our testers to find out their availability. I also have to deal with the paperwork that comes along with recruiting. What I enjoy the most about my role is being able to go out on site and meet our testers whilst they are at work. I have recently completed my PTS so I can go out on track to gain some understanding of their different roles.

Laila: I work as an apprentice recruiter this allows me to learn more about the recruitment industry implementing this into my day-to-day role. I also enjoy building my skills and working as a team on test with Natalie making sure we meet the needs of all our contractors and clients.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?

Natalie: My main hobby outside of work is horse riding which keeps me very busy in the evenings and over the weekends.

Laila: I play netball and go to the gym in the week. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going shopping and listening to music.
