Meet the Team Spotlight

Today we would like to shine a spotlight on our Import Sales Manager, Jennifer Mason! Jennifer is a newer member of the Hit team, having joined us in March of this year. She brings an imaginative and innovative approach to her role in the Overseas Department.?

Her 20 years of experience in the promotional space made her an excellent addition to our team. Jennifer tells us she loves all kinds of products, however working on Hit products in particular has been amazing. She explains, “I have so many resources to utilize between the people & products!”

She continues, “I strictly work on overseas and custom opportunities with National Accounts. I work with each of the Account Manager’s to cultivate Direct Import opportunities with their respective National Accounts. I truly enjoy getting involved with the creative process!”

We asked Jennifer what a typical day looks like for her, which she met with a laugh.?“That is a loaded question!”

“I love my customers! I try and produce creative product options for them. Sometimes it’s something from the HIT line…or most of the time we are creating a whole new idea! I am always searching online, in stores…. I have even gone as far as stopping people in airports to take pictures of unique items that we could potentially turn into projects!”

When you are working with customers daily, it’s important to be energetic and resourceful. Clients are always looking for the latest and greatest; Ideas that will get them excited and set them apart from competitors. Jennifer embodies those valuable traits; “I love working with the team to basically create something out of nothing. It is exciting to wake up every morning for a new challenge!”

We asked her what other qualities or strengths she thinks are important to the success of her position, and what 20 years in the industry has taught her. “I think taking all of my knowledge throughout the years…what not to do’s have helped me make better decisions! Also, listening and asking all the right questions from my customers.” Hit goes above and beyond to make sure our customers feel heard. We love a collaborative approach that makes both parties feel involved in the process.

When Jennifer is not working, she loves spending quality time with her family. “Cooking is a huge outlet for me! On Sundays, I make a huge pot of gravy (red sauce) & meatballs!”

“We also have a 7-month-old husky that keeps us very busy!”
