We don't stop the busy: we help you to streamline it so it no longer overwhelms you.
Welcome to our Meet the Team series. We're excited to introduce you to the fantastic group of course facilitators at?PEPworldwide:nz.?
Meet? Rachel King
What PEP courses do you facilitate??
PEP Principles, Fast Foundations, PEP for 365, Working Effectively Together, PEP for Outlook
Tell us a bit about your background and what led you to become a PEP facilitator??
I trained as a civil engineer, working in the corporate sector for several years before taking time out to have kids. Having 3 kids under the age of 3 was chaos, so I started looking for tools to help survive! I began a deep dive into productivity, and personality profiling tools, and after realising the impact of what I was learning, I went on to train as a PEP productivity coach and an Enneagram coach.?
What does your background and experiences bring to your work at PEP?
Combining insights from my first-hand experience in the corporate sector, with the very real juggle of working for PEP, plus running my own business and raising a family – I have to practice what I preach, so I’m putting these principles into practice every day.?

How has being a PEP facilitator influenced your own personal and professional growth??
Like many people, 21st-century life sees us with a lot of plates in the air. The tools we teach at PEP are tangible and practical to help manage the many things life throws at us; helping to cut through the noise and to stay focussed on what matters most.?
Can you share a funny or memorable moment from one of your PEP sessions?
I arrived in the CBD to present a PEP program with plenty of time to set up for the day. But on arrival, I found there was no access to the parking building I’d been directed to park in, despite trying 3 different approaches. I found myself caught in the thick of CBD rush hour, driving around and around the outside of the building I was supposed to be inside of… the irony that I was running late to run a workshop presenting time management strategies was not lost on me! (I finally made it into the building with about 3 minutes to spare).???
What is one thing you hope participants will take away from your PEP sessions??
The realisation that we cannot possibly do it all, so we need to take a step back, reflect, reset, and realign our energy with what is the most important thing for us to be doing with our time.?
What do you think sets PEP apart from other professional development programs??
PEP gives participants a chance to implement the practical learnings straight away. Rather than just hearing a bunch of theories, and then going back and getting bogged down with work, PEP participants implement what they’ve learned, with the support of a coach, immediately.
