Meet the Team: our values, our team stories

At Ready Player Me, we believe that values aren’t just words—they make us who we truly are and guide everything we do.

Our values shape how we work, how we get things done, and how we interact with each other and our customers. Even though we are a diverse team, these shared values bring us together.

Twice a year, during our Winterweek and Summerfest, we celebrate the team members who embody these values by nominating our Values Champions. Don’t just take my word for it—here’s what our team members have to say!

Meet our latest champions from the last Summerfest—Anneliis, Eduards, Markus, Max, and Tom—each of them has been nominated by the team for truly living by our values.

???? Max, our Software Engineering Team Lead, joined us as a Senior Software Engineer in January 2023 and is now leading one of the strike teams from the UK. Max truly embodies our value of being "Hungry for Impact," always pushing boundaries and finding innovative solutions to complex problems.

The team describes him as "dedicated, conscientious, and enthusiastic," always ready to dive into challenging projects like his recent work with Phoenix. He also brings a sense of fun and playfulness to the team, with the wolfpack noting that "he's funny and always keeps things lively."

???? Anneliis joined us as a Senior Software Engineer in April 2023 and quickly became the Lead of one of our strike teams, working remotely from Estonia. Anneliis lives by our values of being "Hungry for Impact" and "Better than we were yesterday."

The team praises her as a "proactive problem solver" and a true leader who takes initiative, whether guiding the Dory team to success or tackling complex challenges head-on. Anneliis is also celebrated for her caring approach, always going the extra mile to support her teammates and create a positive atmosphere.

???? Eduards, our Product Manager, joined us in January 2023 and works from Denmark. Eduards embodies our value "We Care" by constantly uplifting his teammates, recognizing their efforts, and showing genuine gratitude.

The team describes him as someone who always takes the time to acknowledge hard work and celebrate successes, making everyone feel valued and appreciated. Eduards brings positive energy and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment.

???? Tom, our Head of Partner Success, has been with us since May 2022. Starting as a Technical Account Manager, Tom quickly grew into the role of Partner Success Lead and now leads the team from London. Tom truly exemplifies our values of "We trust and can be trusted" and "We start with the customer in mind."

The team describes him as someone who "goes above and beyond to keep the product reliable" and "communicates well with partners and customers." He’s also known for keeping things playful—organizing RPM events in a fun way and ensuring our remote activities are engaging and inclusive. With his dedication and customer-first approach, Tom has earned the trust and respect of everyone he works with.

???? Markus, our Customer Support Specialist, has been working remotely from Finland for two years. In that time, he has become the embodiment of our value, "We are playful."

The team describes him as someone who "makes this company a funnier place" and whose presence means "we can't be sad when Markus is in the crowd." Markus brings joy, lightheartedness, and a sense of fun to everything he does.

These are just a few examples of the incredible individuals who make up our wolfpack at Ready Player Me. Anneliis, Eduards, Markus, Max, and Tom show us every day what it means to live by our values—whether it's being hungry for impact, striving to be better than yesterday, always putting the customer first, building trust, caring for one another, or staying playful.
