Meet The Team: Meredith Fletcher

1. My role at Moneytech is... Head of Tech Analysis
2. I joined Moneytech because... I saw the potential in the business, it is moving in an exciting direction - going through a lot of transformation in pretty much every aspect. Moving into this role was also a new opportunity to challenge myself and being around like-minded people who are onboard to see Moneytech and each other thrive has been very refreshing.
3. A day in the life: My typical day at work involves... The best thing about business analytics is it is so diverse, my typical day is varied and can include anything from creating project documents, implementing change, educating users, helping users solve system problems and I think most importantly is pulling this all together to help close the gap between the business requirements and the tangible deliverables for the technology team. I get to be involved across lots of different projects, so my days also usually feature project standups for various business initiatives.
4. The most fun part of my role is... Getting to work with all teams across the business, not just my immediate one - tech teams can sometimes be 'behind the scenes' making sure everything is doing what it should be, my role means I get to be out in the business, constantly learning and building relationships.
5. When I am not working, I am... Walking my dog, baking and working on building a mosaic tile table.
6. Something I am planning to do that I have never done... Get married next year!
7. If I were to write a book about myself, I would name it... Comedic relief in times of need.
8. If I had one superpower it would be...Time control - Would love to be able to speed up the clock when I'm folding the washing and slow it right down when I'm enjoying a cocktail in the sun.
9. Some words of wisdom from me if you've made it this far... Open the champagne and buy the shoes - don't save anything for a special occasion, being alive is the special occasion
