KEY Relocation
”We help you relocate your company′s most important asset” www.keyrelocation.se
Say hello to Bianca Amoruso-Wennerby who joined joined our visa & immigration team earlier this year. Before that, she worked for many years in various roles at the Swedish Migration Agency. Bianca certainly has more than one string to her bow! Read her story and be inspired ??
What is it you do?
I'm an immigration consultant assisting people in getting their residence and work permits, first time or extension. I guide our clients through the necessary paperwork and bureaucratic processes for their applications, that have many details. Daily, I answer many questions about the migration process and work closely with the Migration Agency to ensure everything runs smoothly for our clients.
You have worked at the Migration Agency for many years. How is that beneficial in your daily work at KEY Relocation?
Having worked at the Swedish Migration Agency is like knowing both sides of a story, which gives our clients an advantage. I know firsthand how the Migration Agency operates and can guide our clients better and make their move to Sweden easier.
During my years at the Swedish Migration Agency, I developed a deep understanding of the complex immigration processes, rules, and regulations that are essential when moving to Sweden. This directly benefits KEY Relocation as I can offer more accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges or needs that clients might face, ensuring smoother transitions. This way, we avoid requests for additional information from the Migration Agency and save time.
In your own words, what makes our Visa and Immigration service special and what is it our clients appreciate the most about it?
During my 2 months’ time at KEY Relocation I have noticed something special and simple: heart.
Our service is not only about our deep knowledge and interest that our team has in immigration processes. It’s also about how we do it; with heart and dedication.
While guiding people through the necessary paperwork and bureaucratic processes, we also take the time to understand each person's unique story. Everyone has their own journey, and it's important to respect and support that.
It's not only about ensuring that the paperwork is in order. What clients appreciate the most is the feeling of being genuinely understood and cared for. This makes them feel safe.
KEY Relocation has a multicultural team which adds another layer of richness to our service. We have a better understanding of other cultures, nuances, and concerns that come with moving into a new life. It allows us to build trust with our clients, ensuring they always feel supported and never feel like they're just another case number.
In essence, our Visa and Immigration service is special because at its core, it’s about people, their dreams, and their hopes—and we're here to facilitate the whole relocation process with care and dedication.
You have experience from living abroad in many different countries. How does this benefit you in the work you do today?
I’m Italian living in Sweden and have lived a studied in many countries, like France, Switzerland, Belgium, USA. One of the most memorable/challenging places was Yemen. It was so different, but it taught me how to adjust and fit into new cultures.
I traveled the world visiting 22 countries with my two daughters when they were 7 months and 3 years old.
I know what it's like to move to a new place, feel unsure, and try to fit in. I understand the challenges and emotions people face when they relocate. So, when I help others, it comes from a place of genuine understanding and care.
All these experiences of living, moving, and working in different countries and situations have shaped me and help me in the work I do today.
I'm not just assisting our clients based on theoretical knowledge but with lived experiences.

During your time at the Migration Office, you have also experienced cases of human trafficking. Do you want to share something about this experience?
Human trafficking is a painful reality, often described as modern-day slavery. It's the third largest illegal business in the world, affecting millions of innocent lives. These are not just numbers or statistics to me; they represent real people with dreams, aspirations, and families.
Since I was young, I've been curious about human trafficking, especially concerning women and children. This led me to study human rights in international relationships’ program at the university and then work on such cases at the Migration Agency. I have learned a lot about the dangers some people face when moving to a new country. I got to understand the rules, networks, and ways to help these people. This experience helps me today in building even more trust with our clients.
In the world of relocation and immigration, having this background adds another layer of security and assurance to our clients.
What does service mean to you?
Service, to me, is more than just a job—it's an art! It’s about understanding/listening to people's needs and going that extra mile to make them feel welcome and valued. It’s about being present. It's the little details, the genuine care, always aiming to exceed expectations.
Understanding and addressing people's needs, paying attention to the little details, and giving with a genuine sense of joy is what truly defines service for me.?
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I wear many hats, each deeply connected to my passion for people, well-being, science, and personal growth.
First, I'm a proud mum, and cherish every moment I spend with my children. It's a role that teaches me patience, understanding, and the joy of simple moments.
Then I'm really into integrated medicine, or as I prefer to call it, 'lifestyle medicine.' I'm a health and wellness coach, guiding people on their healing journeys using a holistic approach. My love for science and medicine drives me to constantly research and study. Right now, I'm working on a project/ research about how people can live longer and healthier lives.
I have a blog and I write articles about my research to share my thoughts.
I teach yoga classes and practice it myself. Yoga helps me feel good in my body and mind. I also take time to meditate and be mindful, which helps me stay calm and focused.
I have an ongoing project in Zambia, Africa and I work on volunteering/aid projects, above all concerning women/children and health in the third world countries.
I have an innate love for listening to people. To me, every individual is a book—a unique narrative filled with experiences and emotions. Their stories inspire my research and studies because I genuinely want to help as many people as possible throughout my life.
In a way, my free time is not just leisure; it's an extension of my mission to heal and understand.
Thank you, Bianca, for sharing your story. We are proud to have you on our team!
