Meet The Team - Kelly Bakewell
This week, we wanted to introduce you all to Kelly B! Kelly has been with us for over 3 years now and is loved by teammates and clients alike. Find out why Kelly has been with Premium Sales for so long and her journey during her time with us!
Why did you join Premium Sales?
From my first interview, I could see how supportive and friendly the management/staff were towards each other and I knew immediately I wanted to work for Premium Sales. As my previous role was working remotely, I wanted a change in direction and to be a part of a team environment.
Tell us about your current role within Premium Sales?
My current role is within the Prospect Conversion & Client Development team. It is my responsibility to ensure our customers are happy with the work we produce as a team. I have regular communication with our customers to ensure they are happy with how their campaign is progressing. I am also responsible for converting hot prospects from our sales team to the point of trade with our customers.
How has your career progressed during your time with Premium Sales?
When I joined Premium Sales, I joined the sales team and was provided with extensive training and coaching to expand my knowledge so that I could confidently call potential prospects and win new business. An opportunity then arose to join the Prospect Conversion & Client Development team, which is the team I currently work within.
What has made you stay with Premium Sales for so long?
I’ve been with Premium Sales for 3 years because I can honestly say that I love my job! The people I work with are not my only colleagues, but my good friends. I enjoy pushing myself to win business for our customers and continue to learn daily.
How has the business changed from when you first joined til now?
When I joined Premium Sales, we were a much smaller team in a much smaller office. Due to our continued success, we have expanded our team and moved to a much bigger location. We have taken on new accounts, as well as keeping long standing customers. Lockdown was an uncertain time for everybody, however we kept working hard, pushed through and have come out the other side more successful than ever and I am very proud to be a part of that. I was part of the core team who continued working throughout the lockdown until we were back to full capacity. Since the first lockdown, we have employed a new Operations Manager and had additional new team members join us. We have also invested in a new CRM system which was built to fit our requirements, allowing us to provide a more streamlined service to our customers.
Why do you think people should outsource their sales??
Outsourcing your sales means you do not have the hassle of recruiting sales staff and committing to monthly wages and providing training. We have a team of skilled individuals who all have a different approach, so you get the benefit of a range of styles and skills working on your campaign.
