Based in Murfreesboro, TN, Devin has been a cornerstone of our team, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to every project at 7Rivers.?

Devin plays a crucial role in our DataVault Engineering team, focusing on DataVault 2.0 modeling and architecture. He is a strong advocate for teamwork, actively collaborating with colleagues through work sessions. Devin thrives on the diverse experiences of his teammates, often brainstorming ideas that lead to innovative solutions. His dedication to collaboration has resulted in many successes, including helping a client effectively implement DataVault. Additionally, Devin is highly knowledgeable in all things Snowflake. Since joining the Snowflake ecosystem in 2013, he has utilized its powerful capabilities for scalable data solutions, enhancing his skills in ETL development and data migration.?

Professional Journey?

Devin's career began in database development and warehousing before he transitioned into DBA and engineering roles. His passion for DataVault ignited during a project that required him to master its methodologies. He found DataVault’s structured approach superior for building data warehouses and incorporating business entities. This newfound passion led him to a role at PG2, where he successfully transitioned their data warehouse to DataVault. Now at 7Rivers, Devin continues to excel, bringing his deep expertise and enthusiasm to our team.?

Personal Insights and Interests?

Beyond his professional achievements, Devin is building a house and farm in McMinnville, TN, where he dreams of retiring in the next six years. He has ambitions to become the mayor of his town and plans to open an Irish-British style pub called "The Mayor's Pub"—vote Devin 2030! In his free time, Devin enjoys bowling, collecting, woodworking, farming, and spending quality time with his family and four dogs.?
