Hello from everyone at Nomio! Meet the Team is a chance for us to introduce you to the guys behind the work.

This week, we caught up with Callum who has been our beloved Commercial Director since Spring 2021. At Nomio, Callum has been the driving-force behind our growth and is on a mission to revolutionise the contract management space??.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I get to spend a lot of time talking to interesting people.

What do you do on your commute to/from work?

Pedal, and listen to audiobooks.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

To be the Commercial Director at a LegalTech start-up, of course!

What are your guiding principles for the work you do?

Have a bias toward action.

What makes you happy at work?

The people — colleagues, customers, partners.?

What tips do you have for someone working with you?

Be transparent.?

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Locking my phone away and making to-do lists.

What is your favourite book?

It’s difficult to pin down, but there are a few that have had a profound impact on me at various stages in my life so far.

Non-Fiction:The Culture Code’ by Daniel Coyle, ‘Grit’ by Angela Duckworth, ‘Predictably Irrational’ by Dan Ariely,Churchill’ by Roy Jenkins, ‘Moab is my Washpot’ by Stephen Fry and ‘Napoleon The Great’ by Andrew Roberts.

Fiction: ‘The Heart’s Invisible Furies’ by John Boyne, ‘Engleby’ by Sebastian Faulks, ‘The Midnight Library’ by Matt Haig, and most things by William Boyd.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Almond Social pastries from Ole and Steen, next to the Nomio offices. It would be a very short but happy life.?

What's the most ridiculous outfit you've ever worn?

Too many to count, but this lederhosen is up there.

Who do you most like spending time with and why???

My family, and the friends that feel like family — I like being around the people I love.?

Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?

Many times.

What are you most excited to do in the future?

Travel the world with my partner, Alice.

Do you believe in having a "five-year plan"?

Not in any serious sense, but a rough roadmap can be useful.?

Are you where you thought you would be 5 years ago?

On the whole, yes. Further ahead in some ways, further behind in others.

What do you think makes someone a “good person”?

To always have good intentions.

What is your definition of success?

To be healthy, wealthy and happy.???

What's your most controversial opinion about something mundane?

Tinned sardines are actually delicious.

If you had to fight off one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses which would you pick and why?

I would much rather fight one horse-sized duck. Imagine 100 duck-sized horses just going at you. You wouldn’t have a chance.?
