1.????? What is your role at Kongsberg PCS?

To manage and collaborate with members of the Service and Support Department, to ensure we as a team are providing the most timely and best possible customer service.

2.????? What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

Working with my colleagues and speaking with and helping a wide range of our customers on a daily basis.

?

3.????? What has been your favorite project at Kongsberg PCS?

That would be the purchase and installation of the new gantry mill, which is used for machining all the MultiCam frames. This project was a couple of years long and included input from all the departments to ensure quality and reliability of the MultiCam machines. It was a groundbreaking project that included everything from adding a 48” thick foundation and coordinating teams of contractors through to the training of personnel on the new equipment!

4.????? If you could switch your job with anyone else within Kongsberg PCS, whose job would you want?

I really enjoy what I’m doing working with my team, problem-solving day-to-day issues. There are times that I do miss being a technician and working to solve technical and machine-related issues, but that said, I still have the opportunity to brainstorm and work with that team on some occasions.

5.????? How did you get started in the business?

I started in this business when I came over from an aviation background. I took over as the MultiCam Facility Machine Maintenance Manager, putting quality processes in place to ensure maximum uptime for our fabrication machines.

6.????? How would you describe the company culture at Kongsberg PCS?

The team is great to work with! ?We are a pretty large company with that small organization feel, doing everything we can do to ensure we take care the best care of our customers and employees.

7.????? Outside of work, what’s your passion?

Being with my family, enjoying the outdoor activities such as sports, fishing, hiking and hunting with my wife and two boys. ?

8.????? What is your favorite quote or personal mantra?

Work Hard/Play Hard!

9.????? What is the best advice you've ever received?

Communication is key to everything we do in life. Even if you don’t have the best answer, honesty and positive communication - even if bad - is better than keeping people in the dark.
