What's your professional background? I studied pharmacy, where I developed a good understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, medicinal chemistry, and patient care. My studies not only equipped me with a robust knowledge base but also instilled in me a passion for enhancing healthcare accessibility and efficiency. During my time at university, I actively sought practical experience in the healthcare market. This led to me carrying out an internship in Market Access, where I gained valuable insights into the intricate processes involved in registering pharmaceutical products and services. I wanted to make a genuine difference in healthcare which is what attracted me to Belfry. We are innovators and put the patient at the heart of the products.

Personal Background:

I absolutely love the art of making ravioli, "agnolotti" in particular. It brings me joy to carefully blend fresh ingredients, knead the dough just right and shape each little pocket of deliciousness, with precision and creativity. This culinary adventure is not only a way for me to express my creativity but also showcases my commitment to perfection and meticulousness in everything I do professionally.

Responsibilities within Belfry:

My main responsibility is to make sure that all the products meet the safety and regulatory standards. It's a role that requires me to follow protocols, manage risks and coordinate with regulatory authorities. Our goal is to introduce medical solutions into the market while ensuring their safety and effectiveness.

The most enjoyable part of quality and regulatory within the medical device industry is the demand for precision and attention to detail. The give-and-take between compliance and agility is an interesting balance to hold. Ensuring adherence to regulatory protocols requires an accurate approach which aligns with my passion for precision and structured processes. Simultaneously, the ever-evolving nature of the regulatory landscape means problems have to be approached in a flexible and agile way.

The most challenging side of Quality and regulatory for me is trying to support an environment which allows for innovation and growth while ensuring all guidelines are adhered to.
