Meet The Team: AJ

1. My role at Moneytech is... Marketing Executive
2. I joined Moneytech because... My mentor recommended Moneytech to me, and given my background in agencies, I viewed it as a promising career prospect to switch things up and work on the client-side. Moreover, I recognised that Moneytech had enormous potential in leveraging social media to effectively communicate its message to a diverse group of SMEs across Australia. 
3. A day in the life: My typical day at work involves... Every morning, I dive right into the numbers by checking the performance of Moneytech's social media accounts and interacting with other accounts to help boost engagement. After that, I organise my daily tasks and hop on calls with the marketing team for our daily catch-up, where we go over priorities, timelines, and dependencies. Since marketing is never just one thing at a time, I put on my multi-tasking hat and tackle my planned tasks while also dealing with any unexpected issues that crop up. My work involves social media, content, messaging, communications, ad campaigns, lead generation, events, promotions, and partnerships, to name a few. 
4. The most fun part of my role is... One of the aspects I enjoy the most about my role is having the chance to connect with our customers and brokers and build meaningful relationships. It's incredibly rewarding to engage with business owners and referral partners and learn more about their businesses and how Moneytech was able to provide them with the necessary support to tackle cash flow challenges and accelerate their growth. 
5. When I am not working, I am... Usually out on an adventure with my friends, either embarking on a road trip or hiking through scenic trails. I also enjoy attending music festivals and immersing myself in live performances, or simply relaxing at home while listening to my favourite music and taking care of my succulents. 
6. Something I am planning to do that I have never done... I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting experiences, and I recently checked off a major item on my bucket list by skydiving over Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai. It was a life-changing experience that gave me an incredible rush of adrenaline. Next up, I'm planning to push my boundaries even further by trying out bungee jumping in New Zealand. I can't wait to see what kind of thrill this adventure will bring! 

7. If I were to write a book about myself, I would name it... Awkward encounters.

8. If I had one superpower it would be... I'd love to be able to speak and understand all the languages in the world. 

9. Some words of wisdom from me if you've made it this far... Life is short y’all. Do what makes you happy. :)
