Sales Co-Ordinator

What I do at Metallisation:

It is quite literally what the title suggests – I co-ordinate sales. This can be anything from taking phone and email orders to a bigger scale equipment or material sale where I have to liaise with the customer or reseller to make sure it is to the specification required, that the lead times that are given are accurate and that it stays within these timescales, and that the shipment and any relevant documents required are all ready and going to plan, we tend to be involved from start to finish. I also help with some technical queries, and if I can’t point them in the right direction to get the answers as well as other areas of customer service. There is so much more I could also add but we would be here for a very long time!

Why I enjoy working at Metallisation:

Every day is different at Metallisation, and I enjoy the variety of the work as well as being able to communicate with people all over the world. I came from a completely different industry and getting to know the products we sell as well as the multitude of applications and areas our products can be used, I have found incredibly interesting, and I always enjoy finding out as much as I can as well as sometimes getting my hands dirty doing some spraying or repairing!

A career highlight I have had:

I only started my career at Metallisation 10 months ago so I’m sure I have plenty of career highlights to come, however one thing that has stuck with me is my induction when I first started, over the weeks I was able to work in every department we have here getting to know the ins and outs of what we do and how each team and person is integral to the success of the business, as an added benefit I was able to meet and spend time with everyone that works here, and the people here really are what makes Metallisation :)
