Meet Sugatha, GGI Impact Lab, Young Leader 2023

Sugatha Balagopal has done her B.E in Aeronautical Engineering and now work as a researcher and content developer.

She believes that education should be democratized and believe in the power of social skills taking people a long way in their personal and professional journey. She wishes to work and contribute to building platforms that empower people in any way; be it by finding their voice or by using their voice to make systems that work for themselves and society as a whole.

She would love to specialize and find innovative solutions to pressing issues, help bring products and services to the forefront that aid growth and sustainability, and create spaces that assist in people reaching their highest potential. She has worked as a LAMP fellow and worked with her MP(Sushmita Dev) on the policy to have the tax on sanitary napkins exempted.

She won a scholarship for a 1-year course in PGDM in entrepreneurship and innovation and got the opportunity to work with various startups to understand the genesis and evolution of products and services. She also won the AIESEC fellowship to teach and work in the project management space with the Government of Bogota in Colombia. She has been trained in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Mohinatyam, enjoy creating art and can make you run for your money in a game of badminton and pizza-eating challenge.???
