Join these amazing women in Lisbon at Web Summit, Europe's largest tech event this November. Web Summit, a conference named by Forbes as "the best technology conference on the planet" which brings together world leaders, Fortune 500 companies, tech giants, groundbreaking disruptive tech startups and investors to examine and celebrate the latest advance in technology.
Since its inception in 2009, Web Summit has grown from 400 attendees to over 70,000 attendees representing all levels and sectors of the global high technology industry from more than 170 countries. Web Summit also has grown rapidly to an incredible team of over 200 world class engineers, data scientists, designers, producers, marketers, and salespeople between its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland and its operations in Lisbon, Hong Kong, Toronto, San Francisco and New York.
Web Summit will stay in Lisbon until 2028, thanks to a new $128 million deal signed last year with Portugal’s government. This 10-year agreement with Web Summit will decisively make Lisbon a key capital for innovation and entrepreneurship.
This deal gives certainty to our many attendees from over 170 countries around the world, and our thousands of partners and exhibitors. It also gives certainty to our host country, and to our team of more than 200. Together we’re looking forward to doing incredible things...My heart and my team's heart are in Lisbon - Paddy Cosgrave the CEO of Web Summit

There is an essential need for female leadership to help achieve a truly balanced workforce across the technology industry. As we know, more female leaders and women on boards helps lead to greater creativity and less groupthink, and provides a broader view when making key decisions. But most importantly, more female leaders mean more role models for young women and girls, which is simply critical if we want to achieve parity. Gillian Tans Chairwoman at booking.com
