What inspired you to pursue a career in this field?

There are several?factors that?have inspired me to pursue a career in AI.?Firstly, I have always been fascinated by the potential of technology to solve complex problems and improve the way we live and work. AI, in particular, has the power to revolutionize industries and create innovative solutions.?Secondly, the rapid advancements in AI and machine learning have opened up incredible opportunities for exploration and innovation. The ability to leverage vast amounts of data and extract valuable insights has immense potential in various domains, from healthcare and finance to transportation and entertainment. The opportunity to make a positive impact on society through AI-driven solutions is a driving force for me. AI has the potential to address societal challenges, improve decision-making processes, and enhance efficiency in various sectors. To sum it up,?the combination of technological potential, intellectual curiosity, societal impact, and the supportive AI community has fueled my passion for pursuing a career in this field.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I find great satisfaction in the dynamic and creative nature of my role as the Head of Developer Relations. My responsibilities span across product, technology, and business, positioning me as a vital bridge between end users and our engineering team. This provides me with an unique opportunity?to navigate our company through the ever-evolving landscape of the AI community.?Additionally, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is working with incredibly talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, fostering an environment of innovation and growth.

What are some of the proudest accomplishments in your career so far?

Here are two of the proudest accomplishments in my career so far:

1. One of my proudest achievements is co-authoring the highly acclaimed books "GPT-3: The Ultimate Guide To Building NLP Products With OpenAI API" and "Neural Search - From Prototype to Production with Jina." Notably, the GPT-3 book became a bestselling NLP book on Amazon, solidifying its reputation and influence in the field.?The success of these books has further propelled my career, allowing me to build a substantial audience in the AI space. As a result, I now run a popular weekly AI newsletter that reaches over 5,000 enthusiastic readers from the industry. This platform enables me to connect with like-minded individuals, share the latest advancements, and foster an exchange of ideas in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

2.?Setting up the Machine Learning practice from scratch at Arcesium, a post trade technology firm serving global hedge funds and investment banks. This is where I learned the nitty gritties?of building and running a successful team, it was like building a new startup in a sandbox environment.

To stay motivated and productive at work, I prioritize two key factors:

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work??

Outside of work, I have a passion for traveling and exploring new destinations. Before joining Tenstorrent, I spent two years as a digital nomad,?embarking on a journey across India. From the breathtaking Northern Himalayas to the enchanting southern coastline, I immersed myself in diverse cultures, tried new cuisines, and expanded my worldview. Traveling has not only enriched my understanding of different traditions and perspectives but has also provided me with valuable experiences that shape my personal and professional growth.?In addition to traveling, I find joy in playing racket games such as table tennis and badminton.
