Meet Shreya?Badchariya aka @shreyabadchariya, this week's Devpost Summer Community Spotlight feature:

Tell us about your journey as a Devpost user

I first found out about Devpost through a Google search, I was learning UX and my mentor suggested practicing my skills through hackathons. I googled to look for hackathons and found a treasure trove of them here. My first hackathon was a mess. I was not used to deadlines, so my team and I submitted the project at the last minute. It was hectic but fun, almost like an adventure. I loved the experience and started participating in more and more hackathons whenever I had time. At this point, this is a hobby, as well as, my favorite way of learning something new.

How has being a Devpost user helped you?

Personally, participating in hackathons helped my brain reframe challenges as adventures. Now I love and seek the thrill of it.?

Professionally, my portfolio stands out among the crowd. Projects with the winner band catch the eyes of recruiters. Devpost projects show that I have experience working with designers and developers on practical projects, making them ideal to showcase as a portfolio.

What has been your favorite hackathon experience?

Major League Hacking INIT Global Hack Week- I had a lot of fun completing challenges and participating in interactive study and games sessions.
