Today, Shir Raviv , Product Manager, shares some of her insights with us.

What is your job at Optibus and what is a typical work day like?

As a Product Manager a typical work day will include meetings with internal stakeholders as CS/Pre Sales etc. or with our customers to get their feedback on the product and learn their needs and challenges, and daily meetings with the development team and designers.?

Other than that, working on new ideas that are part of the short term and long term roadmap of the product.?

Tell us about how you got started at Optibus and how you developed to where you are now?

I started working at Optibus as a Solution Engineer over 4 years ago. I was working day to day with our product onboarding and training our new clients. After 2 years I became a Pre-Sales engineer, meeting prospects in the global markets and understanding their pains in their current workflow and how Optibus can impact them and bring value to their business.

Having a deep knowledge of the product and knowing our clients closely helped me develop further within the company and become a PM.???

What do you enjoy most about working at Optibus?

There's no dull moment! Working at a company like Optibus that is rapidly growing brings new challenges and interest every day. We are constantly working on new solutions and evolving our product to make our customers happier and offer our solutions to new markets and regions.??

Which Optibus value are you mostly connected to and why? (Determined, Innovative, Caring or Impactful)

Caring. This value definitely makes my day start with a smile. Optibus’ people are caring and respect one another, making it not just a workplace.?

In addition, we truly care about our clients, their success and their satisfaction from the product.?

What skills have been most beneficial for you?

Communication, self learning and being ambitious.?

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you when you were at the early stages of your career??

Don't say "yes" to every request. Learn to understand what is important and how to utilize and manage your time. You can't do it all. So ask questions, probe further and manage expectations accordingly.

What do you like to do outside of work??

Hanging out with my family and friends, traveling and going out for a run.?
