Meet seven Project Managers who are promoting collaboration and data sharing across the CRN

Unique to the Collaborative Research Network, is our emphasis on the project manager (PM). Each CRN team is required to budget for a full-time PM whose main role is to facilitate cross-team and cross-lab collaboration, while also keeping a keen eye on upholding open science principles.??

Many of our PMs go above and beyond. This January, we recognize seven PMs from across the ASAP Collaborative Research Network who came together to organize a highly successful meeting for U.K.-based ASAP teams. The meeting was a grassroots effort and the coordination from the PMs highlighted how critical having dedicated staff can be to facilitating conversations and bringing people together.? Join us in recognizing these PMs in our monthly spotlight series of CRN members who have been nominated for embracing our mission of accelerating discoveries through supporting collaboration, research-enabling resources, and data sharing.?

At long last ! A more cohesive and Sensible way of doing worldwide research. For too long all research for PD has been American Centric/ White Male Centric etc… Anything not written in English was simply dismissed. Ask a PD Advocate in Europe/Asia/Australasia/Africa about the Mjf Foundation - The number one response is “ they do not have a presence here”. I truly hope your network is the beginning of something that resembles the research world much better which in turn represents those living with PD much better. I hope my views are not to confrontational for some. CHANGE is very much needed ! ASAP. The Word that is most Important which is crucial to success #collaboration .
