Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Savannah Crippen . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Savannah , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear stories from your time in school/training/etc.
I absolutely love learning! I have been receiving higher education since I graduated high school. First it was my bachelors in Psychology, where I joined the honors college and specialized in Clinical Neuropsychology, giving me the opportunity to do research related to mindfulness meditation. I then received a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. Following my Masters degree I was trained under a Master teacher in Peru in Reiki. I then joined and completed, The Sound Healers Academy, a five month program to become a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner.
My experience in the Sound Healers Academy was transformative to say the least. Not only did I learn about the magic of sound bowls and sound healing but I also was so supported and encouraged to heal myself in ways I did not know possible. During this experience, I uncovered that a common theme that I let rule my life was fear. In more ways than one I had let fear dictate many of my decisions.
During my training the mentors in the program encouraged us to adapt the belief of sharing the gift of sound healing as being “bigger than us.” By this they meant that the fears of imposter syndrome, not being enough, insecurity, and any other stories we told ourselves were merely just that, stories. Putting ourselves out there and sharing our gifts of sound healing were so much more important than any fear or doubt that we have.
This present day has become one of my core beliefs. It has shifted the way that I choose to do many things in my life. It has given me the confidence to start and expand my business.
Throughout all of my years of schooling and training, I was always trusting my intuition to guide me to what was next for me on my unique journey of life. I was always looking for my own personal depths of healing and for a way to share that in return with the world. I am so honored and grateful to be walking on this path each and every day.
Savannah , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Savannah, owner of Infused with Love and Feel Soul Free. I am a sound healer on a mission to share love and healing with the world. I have been in my industry for eleven years because sound, love and healing have always played a central theme in my life. While I have transitioned through both Western and Eastern schooling, I have always at my core wanted to share health and healing modalities with the world. I started with Clinical Neuropsychology, transitioned into Chinese Medical School, which led me to more energetic practices such as Reiki and then Sound Healing. There is not a day that goes by that I am not grateful that I get to share the gift of sound with the world.
My current offerings that I provide are private 1:1 and group sound baths. During my individualized sound healing sessions we spend time connecting about the history and science of sound healing. We then relax both the mind and body with the breath, to open up to receive the frequencies of the bowls. I then guide each guest with the sound of my crystal alchemy bowls through a personalized meditation.
Infused with love also offers a monthly membership where people anywhere anytime can experience my sound baths. This membership is a member-only community group, where you can connect with other members and receive support. It contains a library of on-demand virtual sound baths, meditations, and breathing techniques. This library consists of sound baths ranging in length from 2 minutes to 45+ minutes with various intentions, meditations and or pure sound. There are regular additions of new sound baths and classes each month so that your library can continuously be growing!
My business partner and I offer larger group and cooperate level classes/workshops where we share a fusion-like experience of Yoga and Sound healing. Our mission at Feel Soul Free is to “Let the power of movement and sound set your soul free”. It has literally transformed our lives and we believe in its ability to transform the lives of so many others.
The main problems that I solve for my clients are creating a safe space for them to fully experience and connect to themselves. How often is it that we get to take the time to focus on being present? My personal sessions as well as group classes allow guests to attain more mental clarity and reduce their stress levels. These shifts allow them to connect with their true selves. After having this experience there is no doubt that you will feel a sense of inner peace and joy. These feelings are transformative because they help you to lead a more meaningful and enriching existence. What sets Infused with Love and Feel Soul Free apart from others is that we take the time to connect with our guests and clients on a deeper level. We leave space pre and post classes and sessions for questions, reflections, and connection. In our larger classes a sense of community is strongly encouraged. My personal sessions as well as the larger group classes are also extremely inclusive for anyone at any level. We always create a space where anyone whether it be at the beginning or deep into their healing journey can feel included, supported and safe.
I am super proud of both of my businesses. The way that success is determined at Infused with Love and Feel Soul Free, is by the number of people who report to us that their life is simply enhanced because of attending our sessions or classes. It is truly my greatest joy and honor to serve all of the beautiful humans open to experience these healing modalities.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Other than the training and knowledge, I think what is helpful in succeeding in the sound healing profession is being authentic. While the sound healing profession is still considered small but growing being authentic in this field is how you share your unique offerings in only the way that YOU can. It brings me so much happiness to see other sound healers sharing sound healing in ways that are unique to their own creative process. There are so many ways to curate an amazing experience for those open to sound healing. While we are all playing sound bowls we do it in different ways while bringing our own energy and experiences of life to the table. This is so powerful because there are people who will resonate with each of us for different reasons. In the end that is what it is all about, connecting and reaching those who are ready to receive the gift of sound.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
On this journey we call life there are so many times where I had to practice resilience. I consider resiliency to be a huge part of my overall personality and character.
The specific story that I would like to share is becoming a first generation college student. I was born and raised in a small town in New Jersey. I grew up lower class with teenage parents who did their very best to provide and keep food on the table. From an early age I was in touch with that ‘something’ special. I had a vibrant spark and joy for life and an understanding of all of its complexities. My mother would commonly express to me, “I don’t know where you came from.” I listened to the wisdom of the elders around me as an attempt to understand things beyond my years. I enjoyed the timeless perspectives of life that they gave. It also helped me to increase my awareness of the realities of the world.
From a young age I was aware of what my reality was. I realized that I was going to have to grow up sooner than my peers if I wanted to be able to create a life for myself. When I entered my teenage years and my parents got divorced some of that light and hope grew dim. I now had to help my single mother raise my siblings and take care of the house. Taking on the role of second mother from an early age was difficult. I remember commonly feeling so angry that I had to work twice as hard just to get by. While I loved my siblings and my family, it was difficult to feel forced to grow up so young.
Throughout high school I worked two jobs, ran track and pushed myself to excel academically. Although my family got by, there was no money for me to attend college. I figured if I could work as hard as possible in sports and school one of those avenues would be able to help me get into college.
“The trial and tribulation of teenage years takes this hold of your life in a way that makes you feel at that time, powerless. I remember being filled with immense anger during these times. The kind of anger that takes over every part of you.”
While my peers around me enjoyed high school, I took on a more adult level of stress to figure out how I would make something of myself. I remember sitting in my AP classes looking around at all my classmates who had nice houses, cars and family support and thinking they don’t know how lucky they even are. Even at that age with that perspective I knew I still had a choice. I could choose to let those feelings and thoughts take me to a low place filled with bad decision making or I could choose to use those same feelings as motivation. I am so thankful that I had the courage to choose motivation.
As high school came to an end, I managed to get multiple scholarships and left home to attend a four year university. While I had to continue this same level of work ethic throughout my college years it all paid off because I would go on to graduate with high honors (Magna Cum Laude), completed an honors thesis research project exploring “High Sensation Seeking Personality Types and the effects of Mindfulness Meditation.” I received multiple awards, became a lab coordinator for a Neuropsychology lab, President of the Psychology club, sat on a board committee to improve student success on campus, received publication in an encyclopedia entry, presented research at multiple conferences and even got to study abroad in Spain for a month. My time at college was maximized in every single way possible. I say all this only because I am extremely proud at where my ability to be resilient has gotten me.
Being resilient has allowed me to create an amazingly beautiful aligned life. I would not change anything that has happened in the journey of my life because it has all led me right here. Becoming a first generation college student?and business owner?is something that I hold near and dear to my heart because it opened up a world that should not have been possible for someone with my beginning.? It will forever be the foundational aspect of my journey fueled by the ability to make choices and trust my intuition. If I can do it I truly believe it is possible for anyone to do. I only hope to inspire those reading this article to challenge themselves to practice resiliency so that they too can create the life of their dreams.
