Meet Sally, our project coordinator ??
Sally is the newest member to our crew and does a little of everything as a project coordinator. She works alongside multiple clients to organize all the day-to-day deliverables, research social trends, strategize new creative ideas, just to name a few things. Sally brings her voice and perspective to every project. Outside of work, you can catch her reading the newest Emily Henry book, digging in the CDs bin at the thrift stores, or biking through small towns in Oregon.
We picked her brain, and she spills it all in this article ??
How did you get started the marketing/advertising industry?
I graduated a couple of years ago from the University of Oregon majoring in Advertising, but I started as an entrepreneurship major in the business school. I went to an extra credit lecture led by art directors and left feeling so incredibly inspired and motivated to pursue a career that incorporated more creativity. I emailed a handful of advisors and professors asking everything from what courses are available to what a career in advertising even looks like. Best leap I ever made!

How do you think Gen-Z will change the advertising industry?
I think this generation brings such a fresh and new voice to the field. There are core values that Gen-Z won’t compromise on, such as authenticity and transparency, that make advertising more emphatic and emotional. I’m seeing more ads featuring people who look like me and addressing topics that I relate to. I have no doubt Gen-Z are behind these big things!
Any advice for recent post-grads?
The time between graduating and your first job can be the most exciting (but sometimes feel like the worst) time of your life. I think it was the most free time I ever had in my twenties so far. Spend that time discovering new niches, see what interests you, and take a break (a real break).
