Meet Rabeya Khondaker: A Journey Through SEO

Hi, I’m Rabeya Khondaker, and I’m an SEO expert and digital marketer who has been immersed in the world of digital marketing since 2019. My journey into this field began right after I completed my Master’s degree in Arts from the National University of Bangladesh. From that point, my passion for helping businesses grow online has been a guiding force in my career.

Early Beginnings: My First Step in Digital Marketing

My career started with an exciting opportunity—a project from Australia. This was my first real experience in the industry, and it turned out to be a successful venture. After that, I joined FlasHOLR, a company I’ve been proudly associated with for over five years now.


Sharing Knowledge: My Experience as a Trainer

While working at FlasHOLR, I also embraced the role of a trainer. I worked with two companies:

  1. eShikhon, a well-known platform for learning.
  2. A government project called the Learning and Earning Development Project, which aimed to empower others with skills in the digital space.

Although training was fulfilling, the intensity of managing students alongside my other responsibilities eventually became overwhelming. I decided to focus solely on my SEO work and stepped away from training.

Stepping Up as an SEO Team Lead

After leaving the training roles, I joined Itinerary Plans as the SEO Team Lead. This role added new dimensions to my career, giving me more strategic responsibilities.


Why I Love SEO

For me, SEO isn’t just work—it’s like playing a game. The real thrill comes when I see the results of my efforts, like ranking on the first page of Google. Every time this happens, I can’t help but smile and say, “I did it!” That sense of achievement keeps me going and inspires me to keep refining my craft.

SEO feels like a game to me—every ranking win on Google fuels my passion and drive!

My SEO Workflow

Let me share how I approach SEO—it’s a structured and strategic process:

  1. Website Audit The first step in any project is auditing the website to identify what’s working and what needs improvement.
  2. Website Optimization Once I uncover technical issues, I fix them to ensure the website is in top shape.
  3. Google Search Console and Analytics Integration These tools are essential for monitoring the site’s performance and ensuring alignment with Google’s guidelines.
  4. Installing SEO Tools For content optimization, I rely on tools like Yoast SEO or AllinSEO, depending on the website’s needs.
  5. Setting KPIs Defining clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) helps track progress effectively.
  6. Competitor Analysis Not every business in the same industry is a competitor. I have my own secret methods for pinpointing actual competitors.
  7. Keyword Research Building a strong keyword list is crucial. I use a mix of high-volume, low-difficulty, and long-tail keywords, many of which come from Google suggestions and my secret techniques.
  8. Customer Research Understanding the target market is vital for aligning SEO efforts with customer needs.
  9. Content Production Content truly is king. I prioritize creating high-quality, relevant content that resonates with the audience.
  10. On-Page SEO From optimizing titles and headers to ensuring image optimization, I handle every detail meticulously.
  11. Backlink Acquisition Building a network of high-quality backlinks is essential for boosting website authority.
  12. Performance Reporting and Content Tuning Regular reporting and tweaking content based on performance ensure continuous improvement.

Final Thoughts

SEO has become more than a career for me—it’s a passion and a creative challenge I enjoy tackling every day. Seeing the results of my work come to life on Google’s first page is the ultimate reward.
