Meet PwC's new U.S. Leadership Team
In preparation to take over as chairman of PwC US on July 1, I named our new leadership team this week.
Over the last few weeks, I spent time talking with our partners and staff to understand what they were looking for in this team. Beyond the natural asks of expertise in various areas, one thing came up over and over again: people wanted this team to lead not just from the top, but to lead with them to serve our clients, our people, and our communities. People wanted team members to whom they could relate, those who would welcome new ideas from every level in our firm, and importantly, those who clearly understood the collective values of PwC.
We talk frequently about diversity and inclusion, and the idea of “lead with me” struck at the heart of that discussion. When you include a diversity of minds in the decisionmaking process, you inevitably have a better and stronger result because the environment in the room becomes open. You start talking with people, rather than talking at them. With an inclusive approach, the sum is far larger than its parts. Each of us brings to the table our own personal journey and our personal passion. Through these shared experiences we learn from each other, and develop a deeper sense of empathy--and better solutions for the complex problems facing our world.
So I set out to find the very best in our firm who captured these ideas. They represent PwC in all its many strengths. Here they are, effective July 1:
Roz Brooks, Public Policy: At the nexus of business and government are vital conversations. Roz will lead our efforts to have a voice in these important debates, to engage better with leaders in Washington and state and local governments, work with NGOs, and help us successfully execute our business strategy. She has spent many years in DC, and her innate passion for politics and government is perfectly suited to this role. Get to know Roz.
Caroline Cheng, General Counsel: As we continue to innovate and bring value to our clients, Caroline will support growth and protect the firm and our people. Our purpose of building trust in society will only be bolstered by her astute guidance. Get to know Caroline.
Martyn Curragh, Chief Financial Officer: Martyn has a particularly keen business acumen, and will give us an objective review of our performance. A Belfast native, Martyn’s global point of view will bring us a deeper and broader understanding of our own growth. Get to know Martyn.
Mike Dillon, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer: Mike will drive our focus on creating an inclusive environment for our people and our communities in every way and on every level. He has great experience with our Assurance practice, has served in several PwC offices, and is a committed LGBT community leader. Get to know Mike.
Suneet Dua, Chief Network Leader: Giving our clients a seamless, global experience with PwC is a priority. Suneet’s global acumen is uniquely suited to making sure we succeed here and the firm is positioned to deliver quality and bring points of view from around the world to our clients and our people. Get to know Suneet.
Vicki Huff Eckert, New Business & Innovation Leader: Silicon Valley-resident Vicki often tells me that “deals and disruption” drive her. Her creativity will help us foster innovation, streamline our approach, and elevate PwC’s strengths broadly in the market. Get to know Vicki.
Miles Everson, Asia Pacific Advisory Leader: While all these roles reside within PwC US, our business is not contained with just our borders. Miles is a great example of how the US firm fits in globally, and how we broaden the expertise we bring to our clients. Get to know Miles.
Mike Fenlon, Chief People Officer: Our most important asset is our people. Mike will help us become the best developer of talent. His passion for creating a workplace where each person has the freedom and training to reach their full potential is unparalleled. Get to know Mike.
Jim Flanagan, Managing Partner: Jim will play a central role in identifying our operational strengths to drive sustained profitable growth, an enhanced experience for our people, and stronger relationships with our stakeholders. Get to know Jim.
Mohamed Kande, Advisory Leader: An electrical engineer by training, Mohamed has truly led a client-focused path at PwC. In this new role, I know he’ll always think from the perspective of the client to bring PwC’s best to the table. Get to know Mohamed.
Christine Lattanzio, Communications and Change: In an organization of almost 45,000 people, the importance of communication cannot be overstated. Christine will help us get even better at connecting with our people and changing the way we accomplish our goals. Get to know Christine.
Mark Mendola, Managing Partner: Mark has been an invaluable visionary for the firm. His charge in this role is to lead our businesses and go-to-market efforts so that we enhance the value we bring to our clients. He will lead our efforts to change business models and service offerings through technology. Get to know Mark.
Amity Millhiser, Chief Clients Officer: In Silicon Valley via Switzerland, Amity understands our business holistically. She will continue to bring the full power of PwC to our clients. Her role is another demonstration of our unwavering commitment to our clients and ensuring that they have access to the complete breadth of PwC’s strengths at all times. Get to know Amity.
Maria Moats, Assurance Leader: We lead in audit, the bedrock of trust in business, and Maria’s clear commitment to quality and innovation in this area will help transform our Assurance practice in the best ways. Maria is an El Paso woman at heart, and deeply engaged in our many diversity and inclusion dialogues around the firm. Get to know Maria.
Gary Price, Partner Affairs Leader and Chief Administrative Officer: The partners of PwC represent a range of innovative and collaborative minds. Their leadership of the firm is what has sustained our collective legacy of quality and service for more than 165 years. Gary’s role is in service of protecting and growing this partnership culture. His experience in client service and in leadership positions serves as a necessary foundation for this important role. Get to know Gary.
Reggie Walker, Chief Commercial Officer: Our brand is our pride, and how we showcase this brand not only to clients, but also to our communities, the media, and the public at large is a big job. I have asked Atlanta-native Reggie to lead here and help us develop in a way that is aligned not just with what we do, but why we do it and who we are. Get to know Reggie.
Roy Weathers, Tax Leader: We are the largest group of tax professionals in the U.S., focused on the tax issues of both companies and individuals. Leading that group is a hefty responsibility, and Roy’s understanding of the practice, as well as his laser focus on building trust is what will bring value to our clients and our people. Get to know Roy.
Sigal Zarmi, Chief Information Officer: We advise our clients every single day on how to embrace technology and embed it in the way they work. The same holds true for us. Sigal will hold the mirror that reflects our own progress and lead in deciding what we need to do to create the best workplace for our people, and the best platforms for our clients. Get to know Sigal.
Again, this is a team that is representative of the tremendous diversity and talent within our firm. It is a team that brings many different skill sets, experiences, and ways of thinking to the table. Some have spent their entire careers at PwC, while others have enriched our partnership by bringing experiences from outside the firm. Some will help provide continuity and others are new to the team. But I know that all of them will lead our people with passion and commitment.
I speak for the entire group when I say we are humbled to be in these positions, and that we will truly devote ourselves to solving important problems and building trust in society.

8 年Hi Timothy, this leadership line is so different than when I worked at C&L in the '90's. My first reaction was the same as Helen Campbell's but I do want to add my voice to Bonni's and suggest you publish some sort of metric. For me, it is about seeing my old firm and the totality of inclusion. Although I was in the minority as a female, what made me very proud of the C&L where I worked was the embracing of many different kinds of people with many different kinds of backgrounds and outlooks. Best of luck.
