Meet priya rani , GGI Impact Lab, Young Leader 2022

Hailing from a small town of Jharkhand to landing at the National Institute of Technology, Jaipur; the journey was nothing less than a roller coaster ride. She did her B. Tech in metallurgical and materials engineering and graduated in 2018 with campus placement in world’s largest grass root refinery, Jamnagar.

She joined RIL as Graduate Engineering Trainee and undergone 12 months of rigorous training before final confirmation. Now working as corrosion & inspection specialist and looking after day to day activities of plants along with strategizing the new Non-destructive Testing and examination to improve the reliability of the assets. Am an active member of Toastmaster Internationals for more than two years which gave me opportunity to speakwithout fear and fight with dignity.

Working professional for about four years, she is inclined to dive deep in her field with more opportunity to solve bigger reliability problem and one-day form my own team. Working in a petrochemical is challenging where physical fitness and mental keenness is required, which led to fewer female candidates in the industry.

Her vision to build a team one day where composition reciprocates with the gender ratio of India. To achieve this, many additional qualities need to be skilled for better leadership and communication. Career acceleration graph needs boaster where GGI comes in picture which provides all the necessary skill needed to be a better leader tomorrow. Looking forward for the new learnings and skills.
