Meet the Principle team

We’re proud to have built a strong core team at Principle Care Homes, and we thought it was about time we introduced them and explain a little bit more about what they’re up to while our home builds are underway. So, say hello to Em, Hayley, Subhaan and Daniel.

Em Dean is our Operations Director

“I was attracted by the passion and enthusiasm of Ash and Nisha, on their quest to create a world where everyone feels special.?

“As Operations Director, I am currently providing oversight to the builds and liaising with the contractors. Internally, I am setting up systems, policies and processes, devising strategies, marketing, and chairing the charity committee. When the homes open I will provide operational oversight of the homes.

“In my previous work experience, I was a nurse for 28 years, and have worked in palliative and dementia settings as well as the acute sector. I am a qualified first responder and a member of the royal volunteer service and have worked as an operations director for the past 9 years.?

“I’m looking forward to the company growing, being able to make a difference and enhancing the lives of others, as well as ensuring PCH is providing outstanding quality care.

Hayley Bull is our Executive Assistant

“As PCH’s Executive Assistant, my normal day usually includes diary coordination, email management and creating presentations. I also keep track of actions and workload, as well as managing the Principle marketing schedule and keeping HR files up to date.

“Before this role, I spent 7 years as a Legal PA for one of the Magic Circle law firms, but Principle’s values and their desire to make a difference led me to join the team. I am looking forward to watching the vision become reality, and to seeing the incredible facilities and décor of the homes. I also can’t wait to see the great quality of care the residents will receive, from a team that enjoys going to work and families being able to trust that their loved ones will be safe.”

Subhaan Iqbal is Head of Systems

“My role at Principle is to create an ecosystem of cohesive technology which supports our team in delivering exceptional care to our residents and using technology to enhance the quality of our Residents’ lives.?

“On a normal day, I spend my time understanding business requirements, shortlisting and selecting systems, scoping and modelling interfaces between systems to allow for system integration, creating workflows which will enhance our system integrations, and lots more! I also work closely with Em to map out our business processes and which technology we need to implement to achieve this.

“Before PCH, I worked for Orchard Care Homes, originally as a Business Systems and MI Analyst before moving onto a Project Management role. After meeting with Ashish and Nisha for the first time, I felt Principle was the right company for me. Their vision and the values the company had aligned with mine, I wanted to make a difference and challenge how systems are used in care, and I felt this is achievable at PCH.

“All the team are passionate about delivering the best experiences and environments for our team and residents to thrive in, we are constantly encouraging each other and challenging ourselves to maintain the highest standard, no matter what.”

“The journey we are on has been great so far but seeing everything we are working on come to life and benefit our team and residents will be the most special part for me. I’m looking forward to showing the rest of the care sector that technology in Care can and will be transformative.

Daniel Knight is our Group Management Accountant

“My responsibilities as Group Management Accountant include bringing all finance functions inhouse, the preparation of monthly management accounts, liaising with the Finance Director, preparing weekly payment runs, preparing and submitting monthly VAT returns and assisting with the selection process of new finance systems.

“On a normal day, I prepare payments and invoicing, set up all the financial processes, and manage information reporting. I also take charge of the day-to-day bookkeeping and cash flow planning and forecasting.”

“Before joining PCH, I worked at Atnahs for 5 years as a management accountant, but I felt like there was an exciting opportunity within Principle, a place for me to grow and develop, especially as we share the same values.?

“I’m looking forward to seeing everything that we have been working on for the past year come to life and become a special place for the team and our residents.”
