Meet potential apprentices from the County Durham area

Meet potential apprentices from the County Durham area

Regardless of size or sector finding and recruiting young talent is challenging...

?On Thursday 3 March, to help overcome this challenge, the North East Local Enterprise Partnership is facilitating a future careers day which will aim to raise awareness of good career pathways. The focus will be upon introducing approximately 300 selected current year 11 students (leave school this year) to:

  • ?Employers planning apprenticeship / traineeship starts
  • Colleges and independent learning providers offering routes into employment
  • Pathways into Higher Education

This event is open to any enterprise planning to offer apprenticeships, traineeships, and other opportunities for school leavers in the County Durham area. It will provide an ideal opportunity for Durham based Micro and SMEs businesses to engage with potential apprentices.

This full day event will be held in County Durham. The event will be a carousel style information session with a maximum of 50 students attending the future employer zone at any one time This should give potential employers the opportunity to spot talent and engage with potential employees.

?For more details, or to register your interest in attending the event as a future employer, please contact me.
