Meet Patrick Eannotti, Director, Third Party Engagement

What is your role with TruSight and what led you to this career path?

I lead our third party engagement team at TruSight, which is essentially a team of relationship managers assigned to our assessed vendors. Our role is to ensure that our vendors receive first-class support as they go through our assessment. We are also looking for ways to maximize their use of the assessment.

What is your team culture like?

Our team pushes each other to book assessments and can see each other’s progress. While we are competitive amongst the group, ultimately, we are booking as a team and working towards our team goals and KPIs.

How have you grown professionally while at TruSight?

TruSight has given me the opportunity to refine and leverage skills that I brought to TruSight. There is plenty of room for growth, and those who work hard will get recognition.

What is your favorite part about working for TruSight?

My favorite part is the collaboration across the board. We have so many great vendors that we are working with and so many customers that are pushing our methodology. Our product/technology teams are dedicated to creating innovative product, and we have great risk leads that are delivering high-quality assessments, which is the most important component to our business.

How would you describe the company culture?

Our company culture is what you make of it. I work with some great and talented people and have great relationships with folks in every department. While we are still a young company, there is plenty of room for growth. There is an open door (albeit virtual door) policy where you can go to senior leadership with questions or feedback and have your voice heard.

What is your favorite part of the company culture?

I mostly enjoy the opportunity to continue to work remotely. The pandemic enabled us to prove to management and customers that we can do this job from home. Those hours spent on a train to and from an office are not missed.

What is the most unique part of working at TruSight?

The most unique aspect is the opportunity that we have in this market. We have leadership that is passionate about the direction of the company. It is fun to watch and be part of the growth of the organization.

What are some of the projects/initiatives you are currently working on?

I am working on booking assessments and ensuring these assessments stay on track. The booking process naturally helps with resourcing.  We are also collaborating with our customers to increase the vendors in our pipeline and grow the catalog in a collective approach.

What is a project/initiative you were proud to be a part of?

I am proud to be part of TruSight’s diversity and inclusion initiative. Our founding customers sponsored 25 Black and Hispanic owned companies to go through our assessment. The purpose was to provide a scorecard to the vendors to give them a view into what types of controls their customers are expecting. This is also giving these companies more exposure to some of the biggest banks in the world. From TruSight’s side, I supported each of the 25 relationships. I got to learn about some awesome organizations and meet some great and talented people. We will continue to expand on this initiative in 2022.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment at TruSight has been finding myself on the business development team. I have always collaborated with sales and account managers in previous roles but never sat on one of those teams. I joined TruSight on the operations team in 2018. I was recruited to join the business development department towards the end of 2019. Building relationships is an area of strength and managing a book of accounts comes easy to me. I enjoy being on the phone with vendors every day. I enjoy the hunt of trying to get new vendors into our program and catching up with the people that I have built some great relationships with over the past couple of years. The goal of the TruSight assessment is to help get ahead of other, similar requests from customers. In this role you get to see that from the front row and help identify those new potential consumers of the assessment.

How is the industry changing? How does TruSight help companies adapt during this evolution?

Validating the controls and policies is what drives our assessments, and the future is using this data that we are collecting and turning that into innovative reporting, dashboarding and products. The evolution of that will be exciting to watch especially from someone in a customer and vendor facing role with a background in product management.

What do you think will be the biggest trends in the industry over the next five years?

Technology and data visualization, real-time reporting & real-time updates for remediation.
