Meet Paige Madgwick, Sales Manager at Hearing Australia

Paige Madgwick, has worked with Hearing Australia for ten years. Previously, she worked across two locations as centre manager, but is currently one of our expert sales managers. Here, she chats with us about her day to day responsibilities as centre manager and best memories from across her career.

A typical day for Paige revolves around communicating weekly business goals with the team and working closely with them to achieve this. She takes time daily to review how the business is tracking for the month, including analysing client outcomes and experiences, and sharing positive feedback with the team. She attends regular virtual manager meetings for any business updates, and checks in with her Community Hearing Advisor to review the monthly plan on spreading hearing health awareness in our local communities. Regular opportunities to work alongside the regional teams of managers creates excitement and innovation that she can bring back to her team and local communities.

Paige finds hearing and seeing client outcomes as the most valuable part of the role. She emphasises how rewarding it feels to view all the hard work from training, coaching and upskilling staff be reflected in the feedback and appreciation received from clients.?

The memories that stick with Paige the most are those involving her paediatric clients. Watching them grow up over the years from infants to attending primary school, not letting their hearing loss get in the way of their success, are some of her favourite moments from working with us.?

Paige describes how empowered she feels working for Hearing Australia, knowing she’s part of something big that positively impacts all Australians. She appreciates how no two days are the same and that there’s always someone there to support you along the way, keeping things interesting and progressive. As such a diverse role that allows her to get job satisfaction in so many areas, she greatly encourages others to consider the position of Centre Manager.
