Meet Our Team: Amber From Accounts!
Our Accounts Administrator, Amber Filson, is in the spotlight for this edition of our new 'Meet Our Team' series.
Now... we're obviously biased, but we think our staff members are the bees knees. We'd therefore like to give them some online recognition.
We've asked Amber 12 questions (most of them relating to food as we're all foodies here after all).
So, if you want to know what her guilty pleasure food is or what she's picked as her spirit animal, then read on!
1.?Where on the island are you from?
Peel (West is best).
2. How long have you worked for Robinson's? Tell us how that journey began.
Seven years. I started with the Telesales team, then I worked alongside Sales and Operations, and now I'm in the Accounts team.
3.?Can you share a bit about your previous career experiences?
I worked in payroll for 11 years.
4.?What is your go-to karaoke song?
There isn’t one. No one needs to hear that!
5.?If you could time travel to any era, which one would it be and why?
It would be the 50s for me. The music, the post-war years... I used to love listening to all the stories about the 50s from family members.
6.?What's the weirdest food you've ever tried... and did you enjoy it?
When I was a child on holiday we would go winkle picking with my dad. They looked awful, but tasted good.
7.?What would your spirit animal be and why?
It would be an elephant, as they're known for wisdom, strength and stability.
8. What's your guilty pleasure comfort food or snack?
Marmite (I love it)!
9. What's your favorite ice cream flavor, and if you could create a crazy topping, what would it be?
Mint Choc Chip. I don’t have a sweet tooth, so no crazy toppings for me.
10. If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have three food items, what would they be?
Bread, Marmite and dark chocolate.
11. What's the most unusual talent or skill you possess?
I never set an alarm and I’m never late.
12. What your favourite food item from Robinson's?
Noa Bakehouse seeded bread.
We would never have taken Amber for a definite LOVER of Marmite! (That'll be handy information for her Secret Santa this year.)
