Meet our new senior members of staff??♂?
Hi there,
I hope you're having a great week.
Our latest poll has revealed that somewhat unsurprisingly, 73% of voters don't trust Boris Johnson to tell the truth after the Partygate scandal. Full?details are below
You might have spotted news of our new senior hires in?Mr Web?and?Research Live?recently.
?Last month we welcomed Sabrina, our Senior Data Analyst to the team. We've also made another exciting senior hire and?are looking forward to introducing you to Stephen, our new Operations Consultant.?
An exclusive poll that we undertook in collaboration with Byline Times suggests the Prime Minister may still pay the price for lockdown-breaking parties, as almost three-quarters of UK voters do not trust him to tell the truth.
Johnson’s allies believe he has survived the ‘Partygate’ scandal. However, the new polling suggests the scandal may have seriously damaged his Government.
In the wake of fines being issued to Downing Street staff, the poll found that 73% of those surveyed did not trust Johnson to tell the truth, with just 6% of voters saying they trust him a lot.
Even among Conservative voters, a substantial minority said that they did not have full trust in him to tell the truth, with a total of 26% of those surveyed expressing doubts.
This month we welcomed our new Operations Consultant, Stephen, to the team.
Stephen will become an integral part of our Operations Team, helping to script surveys, run tables, liaise with clients but most importantly, overseeing projects from start to finish and supporting the wider team.
He brings with him a wealth of experience from a career spanning almost 30 years in market research. He started his career doing data entry for Scantel International before moving to London for a job with TNS.
When the company bought the Market Research Bureau of Ireland (MRBI), this was the start of a 10-year period of living and working in Dublin before he moved back to London in 2012 for a job with Ledbury Research.
There he dealt with clients ranging from luxury brands and private banks to wealth and investment managers of HNW individuals. In 2017 he joined Watermelon Research which was his last role before joining us here at Omnisis.

Stephen is particularly excited to join a new team and support them with our diverse range of client work. He’s also enjoying sinking his teeth into an entirely new platform, our survey software Warp.
When he’s not at work or being his children’s personal taxi service, Stephen loves to bake - and whilst you may not find him on The Great British Bake Off any time soon (his own words!), he does make a prize-winning torte de cappuccino cheesecake that saw him win his last workplace’s bake-off competition.
Aside from his culinary pursuits, Stephen enjoys growing his collection of vinyl and he and his family visit Bulgaria each Summer to spend time with his in-laws.
Welcome to the team Stephen, it’s great to have you here.

If you don't invest 5% of your budget in market research, you don't know what you're doing
The BBC’s decision to invest heavily in research should be celebrated by us all and noted by marketers. Investing 5% of your budget in market research is not superfluous, it’s key to understanding customers, serving them better and growing your business.
As always, thanks for reading.
