Meet Our Interns: Leah, Abhiram, Joshua, Liam, and Kathryn | Life @ OCLC
Our OCLC family has expanded for the summer! Recently, we welcomed 21 new interns from different universities and backgrounds to our Dublin, Ohio offices, where they have already begun making an impact in their respective departments. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about these individuals and their experiences at OCLC. We have enjoyed seeing all they have accomplished so far and can’t wait to watch them grow!

Name: Leah Cote
Position: Human Resources Intern

School: Senior at University of Toledo
Major: Human Resource Management Pathway

Favorite Part about OCLC so far: “I love the people I work with and getting to know the other interns so far! I have already learned so much.”

Position: Software Development Intern

School: Sophomore at The Ohio State University
Major: Computer Science and Engineering

School: Graduated from Texas Woman’s University in December 2022
Major: Master’s of Library Science
Fun Fact: “My husband and I have had 17 addresses in our 30 years of marriage to include Naples, Italy (4 years) and Singapore (3 years).?Once we make it to South America (hopefully) and Antarctica (doubtful), I will have visited each continent!”
Favorite Part about OCLC so far: “My project is focused on debiasing the DDC, and knowing that what I do here will ripple through the libraries worldwide and may help someone in the LGBTQIA+ community see themselves represented accurately keeps me going.”
A quote that you live by: “Never make more work for someone else if you can do it yourself.”
