Meet our Emiratisation Team

Emirati Nationals are at the heart of our culture and our community, and are a driving force to our Group. Therefore, we dedicate our efforts to having them part of our people, ensuring we offer them the environment and necessary tools to succeed in their roles and engagement throughout the Group.

This team of 4 passionate advocates of Emiratisation motivate each other and navigate through challenges to help us achieve our commitment towards Emirati talents, enabling Chalhoub Group to be an Employer of Choice for Emiratis.

The Emiratisation team works internally with our people & business partners to attract the right Emirati talents, all the while maintaining strong engagement among the Chalhoub Emirati Community, by organizing various cultural events, such as celebrating the National Day of our beloved UAE.

This is also made possible through strong external partnerships built closely with key stakeholders, government bodies, semi-government entities and universities, who help us achieve our purpose.

In 2022, we have more than doubled the number of New Emirati talents introduced into the Group. The Ru’ya Careers UAE 2022 opened the door for us as well to interact with over 800 Emiratis with interest in our Group.

We also signed a new MoU with Department of Economy & Tourism to support their employees in training within the Private Sector. Along with another MoU signed with Dubai College of Tourism to support the development and industry exposure of Emiratis within the Retail sector. ?

In addition to that, we have successfully re-launched the National Graduate Program across 3 countries in the GCC, with currently a total of 20 graduates. And with the valuable collaboration of Yes2Work and Medyaf programs, we have trained an average of 100 Emirati students through various initiatives across the Group.
