My core competences come from 34 years in the financial sector, Nordea Markets – Foreign Exchange Interest rates. ?I bring a strong skill set in investment banking, financial analysis (profit/loss), risk management, and leadership across a pan-Nordic organization. Securing pricing for customers 24-7 in Interest rate derivatives. Warehousing risk. B2B and B2C.

Implementing ESG in daily business procedures, securing transparency and credibility. Through Investment Banking, I have gained the strength to navigate and adapt to market conditions quickly. I have been leading through financial and geopolitical crises with success.


Do you have any specific experiences in a board context that you would like to highlight?

Driving volunteer engagement at Parasport Frederiksberg. As a board member, I've focused on recruiting and retaining volunteers, fostering a supportive environment, and enhancing communication channels. Through targeted outreach and recognition programs, we've expanded our volunteer base and ensured their contributions are valued. This experience has provided valuable insights into effective volunteer management and the importance of inclusivity.


What do you see as the biggest obstacle for companies to succeed?

The biggest obstacles for companies to succeed include geopolitical tensions, leading to economic uncertainty and disruptions in supply chains. Additionally, rapid technological advancements, particularly in AI, pose both possibilities and threats that companies must navigate. Cybersecurity threats also loom large, raising questions about organizational preparedness. Furthermore, attracting and retaining the right talent is crucial, with a need for a focused development strategy for employees. Finally, lack of diversity within companies can lead to missed opportunities, as they fail to reflect the diverse world around them. Addressing these challenges will be pivotal for sustained success in today's competitive landscape.


What is it about board work that excites you so much?

What excites me about board work is the opportunity to apply my skills and continue learning simultaneously. I am driven by the prospect of utilizing my competencies to contribute to the growth and performance of companies, while also promoting a strong ESG culture to secure shareholder value. As a lifelong learner, I am constantly curious and proactive in expanding my knowledge and network, ensuring that I have a comprehensive understanding of the future and can make informed decisions in board roles.
