Hi, Darina! Would you, please, introduce yourself?

Hello, my name is Darina and my role is Java developer in Brain Stars Technology.

?? We would love to know more about you. How did you get into IT in the first place?

After several years in tourism industry, I decided it is time to make a change. While managing my company website, I was always curios how the staff behind the scenes was working. This curiosity led me to Java programming.

?? What do you like most about Brain Stars? How did the company win your heart?

I really appreciate the company culture and how supportive and collaborative everyone is. Everyone is working together towards a common goal and I am really happy to be a part of Brain Stars.

?? What is your greatest achievement?

On one hand, my greatest achievement of my personal life is to become a mom and this is a project in progress yet. On the other hand, programming is really challenging. Every day there is something new to learn and achieve.

?? How do you chill out after work? What are your hobbies?

After work I like spending time with my family and going out with friends. The last weekend I went to two events – a stand-up comedy and a musical.

The advice I was given during my programming studies and always follow is to break a specific task that needs to be done into small parts. When the small parts are ready, I combine them into a whole large task. Be prepared to learn a new thing every day.
