Please describe yourself & your path to Compare
I'm an adventure-seeker of the professional world. My journey started as a journalist, where I spent a couple of years diving deep into stories and news that mattered, shaping them into articles. I've always been fascinated by stories, especially the untold ones, and that's what drove me to journalism in the first place. I relocated to Sweden where I finished a degree in Economics and started my career in the administrative field.?
Recently, I've been rolling up my sleeves in project development and managing partnerships. I’ve been searching for and securing funding, weaving together diverse resources, people, and expertise to achieve sustainable outcomes. I thrive on tackling complex challenges, and there's no better feeling than finding a solution that fits just right!
I'm a firm believer in the power of technology to create positive change and I love exploring new, disruptive ideas. So, here's to finding new adventures, building innovative solutions, and making the world a better place, one project at a time!
Which aspect of working at Compare do you enjoy the most?
The aspect of working at Compare that I cherish the most is undoubtedly the dynamic environment of constant change and development. There's something truly invigorating about being in a place that's continuously evolving and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
But even more than that, it's the people that make the experience truly special.
My colleagues are not only incredibly smart and competent but are also friendly and supportive. The sense of camaraderie and mutual respect we share elevates the work we do and fosters a collaborative spirit. This blend of stimulating work and remarkable people makes every day at Compare a truly rewarding experience.
Which project are you most involved in right now?
I'm currently working on a diverse array of projects at Compare. My involvement ranges from the strategic development stages to hands-on operational tasks. The spectrum of projects is broad (innovation procurement, quality assurance, cybersecurity, etc), so it's challenging to pinpoint just one area, as my workday can have me juggling between different industries, stakeholders, and project stages.

What do you currently find inspiring and worth sharing with others interested in your area of expertise?
This variation of our portfolio, although challenging, keeps things interesting and engaging, pushing us to adapt and grow continuously. It's like a puzzle where each project piece, whether big or small, contributes to the bigger picture of driving sustainable change. And that's what makes it exciting! This perspective shift from focusing solely on individual parts to understanding and considering the holistic picture, of how they come together in the system, is something I find worth sharing.?
What is your favorite memory related to Compare?
About my favorite memory related to Compare, it's honestly hard to pinpoint just one. I've been fortunate enough to experience numerous memorable moments throughout my journey here. I feel it is not fair to choose just one.
How do you relax after work?
Nature is my sanctuary and spending time in it with my family is the perfect way for me to relax and rejuvenate after work.
If you could change one thing/issue/problem in our society, what would it be??
If I could change one thing in our society, it would be to foster greater collaboration and understanding among individuals. I firmly believe that the challenges we face today - be it social, environmental, or technological - are interconnected, and thus, can't be effectively tackled in isolation.
No man is an island, as the saying goes, and this couldn't be more relevant today. We need to break down barriers, engage in open dialogue, and work collectively to find sustainable solutions to our shared problems. By promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual understanding, we can tap into our collective intelligence and creativity to shape a better future. We're all in this together, after all.
