Hi Laurita! Can you tell us more about how you are making an impact at MOIA and what you like about your team??
Hi! I work with the Agilist (agile coaches) team here at MOIA. In short, my everyday focus is to accompany our teams through their journey of building great products by helping enable collaboration, self-organisation and transparency. In real life terms, I help to make sure that teams are not blocked, facilitate some of their processes to ensure smooth communication within and inter-team level.??
It is my first time working with such a big team of agilists: we are currently 12! We are a very diverse bunch with a strong focus on support, empathy, trust and collaboration as the guiding values and that is what I love about my team.??
Can you tell us more about the team structures at MOIA and how you as agile coaches are enabling the teams??
Our organizational topology consists of different types of teams: stream-aligned teams (cross-functional teams), complicated sub-system teams (deep specialty teams with knowledge around a specific sub-system) and platform teams (infrastructure teams, enabling other teams). Each agilist is supporting 1-3 teams (depending on the maturity/size/challenges, etc. of the team) at a time and ensure tailored support for the teams depending on their needs.?
?How would you describe the culture at MOIA??
When I think of a culture we have at MOIA, one word comes to mind: engagement. I feel that a lot of people in our company are highly engaged not only with the company mission and everyday work, but also other, macro level causes (like inclusion, sustainability, transparency, mental health, diversity) which is an extremely motivating environment to be in.??

What is your favourite agile method??
None and all at the same time! I am a believer that there is no best practice/tool/method/framework, there is only best fit based on the principles in a particular context. So any tool that fits that particular context is the one I favour!??
The agile coaches are hosts of the Pacemaker. Can you tell us more about this company format??
Yes! The Pacemaker is a company-wide ritual where we gather to discuss and initiate change around processes and practices that are no longer in line with the environment we are or want to create. The input for the agenda comes from the “MOIA Vibe” questionnaire that we participate in every month and any employee who would like to discuss a topic/are to improve. Some topics/changes we have covered/introduced in the past: meeting free days, flexible working boundaries, gender neutral language usage, bi-weekly review format changes and many more.??
How do you move? What is your favorite mobility option?
Whether permitting, I usually bike. Otherwise, I am a regular user of publicly available mobility options and mostly use train/u-bahn or trams! MOIA is also a service that I use quite often, especially when I feel like sharing a ride with a smaller number of people.??
