Meet Michelle Bak, Hotel & Vendor Analyst at FlightBridge

Hi Michelle! What do you do at FlightBridge?

I’m a Hotel and Vendor Analyst, and I mainly work with our hotel partners to ensure they're set up in FlightBridge and providing our mutual customers with the very best rates.

What do you love about your role?

I love that I’ve been able to connect with so many different people and build great relationships within the hotel and the aviation industry.

It has kept each day exciting as I’m always meeting new people while helping FlightBridge secure great hotel rates for our customers.

What did you do before FlightBridge?

Before FlightBridge, I was a student at The University of Georgia as a double major in Management Information Systems and Hospitality Management. I interned at FlightBridge during my senior year, and I was happy to come back full time as I always wanted to work in tech or hotels. It’s been great to do a little bit of both here at FlightBridge while also gaining more insight into the aviation industry.

What are some things you are passionate about?

I am passionate about building strong, meaningful relationships with our hotels. Because of the different needs for each hotel, being able to build relationships has helped in finding different ways to work together for mutual and prolonged success.

Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring new cities and spending quality time with my family and friends!

Any tips for someone who aspires to do what you do?

A big part of my job is communication and organization. It’s very important to be able to effectively communicate with both the hotels and our team here, as there are so many moving parts to ensure we are able to successfully load and display hotel rates.

With so many rates that are being managed, being organized is key to make sure that we don’t overlook anything and can streamline our processes.
