I've been a proud member of the MasterCard family for the past 2.5 years, serving as the Manager of Talent Acquisition. Previously, I was on a career break for 3 years and during this tenure, I engaged in freelancing focusing on leadership hires and talent development. Talent acquisition has always been my passion and Mastercard not only allowed me to follow my passion but also elevated my role, offering a platform to excel as a talent acquisition professional.

In your own words, how would you describe your role and responsibilities?

At Mastercard, my role as a?Talent Acquisition Manager is spearheading recruitment for the Open Banking business unit. I am entrusted with the crucial task of identifying and attracting top-tier talent to join our ranks. My focus extends to assembling a high-performing team that embodies excellence. This encompasses a multifaceted approach that involves understanding the unique skills and attributes required for success within the hiring talent landscape. I work closely with cross-functional teams to pinpoint these specific requirements and ensure that the individuals we bring on board align seamlessly with our strategic goals.

Furthermore, my role extends beyond the recruitment phase. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of growth and development within the team. This involves ongoing engagement, mentoring, and providing opportunities for skill enhancement to ensure that our team is equipped to thrive in the fast-paced and dynamic realm.

?What do you like most about working at Mastercard and why?

When I was on break and thought of resuming back to work, I was worried about work-life balance I always wanted to join an organization that gives balance to my work-life, Mastercard not only provided an equal opportunity?but also helped in sharpening my skills as a leader and I am glad of making that decision of joining Mastercard and I love the inclusive and a diverse culture.

Our team has truly exceptional culture that goes beyond the ordinary. Collaboration is our cornerstone, with everyone contributing their strengths to achieve collective greatness.

Our passion for the work we do is evident in every project we tackle. Each team member brings their A-game, and this shared enthusiasm is truly contagious.

Upon joining Finicity as an Assistant Manager in Talent Acquisition, the transition into the Mastercard ecosystem following the acquisition brought forth a remarkable journey. Under the guidance of an inspiring manager, I embraced growth path challenges, and through their continuous support, I earned the promotion to Manager of Talent Acquisition. Their mentorship provided me a platform to demonstrate my capabilities extensively and enabled me to glean invaluable insights, contributing significantly to my professional growth.

How have Mastercard's programs supported aspects of your professional or personal life?

Mastercard provides many programs to support its employees to work effectively and evolve in their roles. Being a member of the Talent Acquisition team, I got great opportunities to network, contribute, mentor, and learn not only in the Talent Acquisition space but in other lines of business as well.

The benefits provided by the organization are of great value, mentoring and comfort by leadership, Flexible hours, number of leaves, team always happy to help, work from elsewhere benefits, etc.
