The Atos Blog published on our external website is another focus area for Courtney. “Our blog is an incredible way to illustrate the innovation and expertise we have at Atos,” she says. It’s also a powerful way for employees to position their own brand. “We can demonstrate how our talented employees are sought-after industry thought leaders, which not only helps our brand but also the employee’s reputation in the market.” Courtney encourages employees to reach out to her directly with client stories and if they have a topic, they are interested in publishing on the Atos blog.?

Reporting “Live”?? ?
Previously Courtney was a media professional based in Wausau, Wisc. In fact, she’s been an on-air reporter, weekend news anchor, producer, and news director. She loved the challenge and adrenaline rush that comes with being in news. “In one day, I could cover the city council meeting, a spot about the local school system, a tornado and then a piece about the Green Bay Packers—it really kept me on my toes,” she says. ? ?
“As news director I was responsible for a team of 30—it was a stressful role. I truly love storytelling and writing so I was excited to collaborate with our young reporters who needed some honing with their pieces,” she says.?
Reporting was very rewarding to Courtney. She found herself on the frontlines of weather emergencies, political rallies, sports events ranging from high school level to pro, conducting investigations and even on crime scenes. “I enjoyed feeling like what I did each day really mattered,” Courtney says.?
Courtney recalls covering a young boy’s Make-A-Wish outing was one of her most memorable stories. She’s interviewed some well-known figures including Chelsea Clinton and Ted Cruz. “I had several of my stories picked up by national news outlets, which was really thrilling for me,” she says. ?
Balancing Work and Life ??♀? ?
When Courtney isn’t busy working at Atos, chances are you’ll find her running with her dog, Kona, an energetic Husky or working out. She’s completed a marathon and multiple half marathons—and she’s hoping to run in a Paris Marathon this summer.? “I was so excited that I won the first Atos Challenge’s bib for the Paris Marathon—I’m hoping to make the trip because that will be an incredible experience,” she says. ?
Courtney is a twin and lives close to her sister, whom she sees every day. She loves spending time with her family so moving back to her Chicago hometown has afforded Courtney more quality time with her loved ones. ? ?
Back in 2011 Courtney’s father was suffering from kidney failure. All her siblings were tested. “Mine was a perfect match even though we had different blood type,” she says. “There was nothing to think about—it was an easy decision to make. I’d strongly encourage others to consider organ donation—it truly changes people’s lives.”
Courtney’s storytelling and writing talents go beyond the evening news, it’s helping grow our Atos brand across the North American region.?
