Meet Marwan of UAE’s RAMY Jeep? Club, a Jeep Brand Lover Since His Early Years

Next up on the Jeep? Middle East interview series with some of the region’s most well-known Jeep clubs is Marwan Semaan, President of RAMY Jeep Club and loyal Jeep enthusiast since his childhood years.

“My father owned his first Jeep vehicle back in 1994. I was six years old then and I’ve since owned four Jeep vehicles in the past 10 years, so this legendary brand really is in my blood,” said Marwan.

Having passed on his love for the Jeep brand, Marwan’s father would take him on family journeys across the UAE and Oman deserts, mountains and beaches, childhood memories that Marwan holds dearly to his heart.

“The thing I love most about the Jeep brand is that it represents me and who I am. It’s adventurous, reliable, and customizable, and what makes the brand truly unique is the fact that it’s very community-focused and very drive-experience driven,” shared Marwan. He decided to launch the RAMY Jeep Club to give like-minded people, from across the UAE, the opportunity to go on adventures together with their own Jeep vehicles.

“Jeep Wrangler models, in particular, are owned by so many different types of people with diverse characters, and we wanted this club to be a place where they could all come together and bond through their shared love for the brand,” said Marwan. “So far, we have about 280 active members in the club, and anyone is welcome to join as long as they own a Jeep vehicle and are respectful to others, nature, as well as the UAE law.”

Although most of the models at the club are made up of Jeep Wrangler owners, Marwan opted for the Jeep Gladiator JT, his fourth Jeep vehicle.

“I decided to go for the Jeep Gladiator JT because I wanted to try something different that I could enjoy while spending quality time with my friends. The Gladiator JT is perfect for this, especially since I was able to completely customize it for camping and overlanding.”

RAMY Jeep Club organizes numerous activities throughout the year, with some exciting plans lined up for this desert season.

“Just last weekend we organized a Jeep Desert Camp, which attracted about 70 attendees,” said Marwan. “We also often collaborate with other Jeep clubs throughout the UAE, such as Jeep Nation and Ultimate Jeep Team, bringing together a whole community of Jeep enthusiasts with people from across the country. We also offer beginner drives for those who are still familiarizing themselves with their Jeep vehicle, and encourage those Jeep owners to enjoy their Jeep vehicles and experience its legendary capabilities.”
