Meet Louise McManus - Senior Business Development Manager

Please tell us about your background before joining Uniserve.

I have over 20 years’ experience in the logistics industry, particularly in sales and freight, and bring a range of experience with me to Uniserve.

I previously worked as a Business Development Manager selling air, ocean, warehousing and road freight for 8 years. Prior to this was 5.5 years as a Territory Sales Manager covering the whole of the South East selling air and ocean freight. I was also a European Sales Executive for 3 years selling road freight services.

Please tell us about your new role at Uniserve?

Based in London Heathrow, I’m a Sales Senior Business Development Manager, selling air, ocean, road and warehousing.

What are you looking forward to in your new role?

I’m looking forward to the new challenging role and working with a dynamic company who have good retention, a great customer service team, and an advantage over competitors on their global buying power.

What interests and hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?

I enjoy the gym and go 4-5 times a week doing HIIT interval training classes such as Blaze and F45. I spend a lot of time with my two kids age 3 and 6, and we love to visit parks on the weekend, occasionally horse-riding, swimming and visiting London attractions. We’re annual Merlin passholders, so Legoland and Chessington are close by to us, and we’re also regular visitors to Hampton Court, Kew Gardens and Bushy Park.
