Meet LinkedIn’s Campus Editors for 2019

Today’s students are tomorrow’s professionals. Some of them would be running companies. Some, even governments.

Hence, they should be able to persuasively express their ideas, embellish any conversation with their worldview and stand out in the job market.

LinkedIn’s Campus Editor initiative gives you a jumpstart on developing these critical skills. You voice your opinion on the largest collective of professionals ever assembled. To an audience that talks back and wants to hear from students. 

Today, we announce our largest ever class of Campus Editors: 630 rockstars from 500 colleges across 40 countries. Compare this with the 140 Campus Editors we had in 2017-18.

Expect these numbers to change as we’re accepting applications on a rolling basis.

Our campus editors are a much sought-after lot: many have landed plush jobs, several get invited to speak at prestigious conferences and some have even gone on to co-author books. 

Essentially, our campus ambassadors mobilize their peers to post about things that matter to them, the obstacles they face, the career decisions they make and the dreams that guide them. Expect these students to share perspectives, highlight pressing concerns and curate voices from fellow students. They learn from the experiences of our previous campus relays.  

For Campus Editor Frederick Daso, the program was a catalyst to his professional journey. "From publishing on Forbes as a Contributor to receiving job offers from top engineering firms, the Campus Editor program has helped me mature and grow as a person and professional," he said.

All Campus Editors must mandatorily join this LinkedIn group. Here, we will discuss next steps into the program.
