Meet Jonatan - CEO and co-founder at MyStamp
Hey Jonatan! Tell us a little about yourself.
My name is Jonatan and I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in Gothenburg and today live 10 minutes from the city with my pregnant partner who is expecting triplets and our daughter. If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say that I am a happy, outgoing and positive person. I love creative solutions that move business forward and to challenge myself. I started my career as a freelance photographer.
How did the idea for MyStamp come about?
I like to exercise in my spare time and was out on a power walk with my friends when I found two physical stamp cards in my pocket. Then I thought “Oh, why are they here? I had been looking for them before”. That's when I started thinking about whether you could somehow save them digitally, maybe even on your phone with a mobile app. There, the basic idea for MyStamp was raised.
What do you personally define as good leadership?
I believe that it is important to have a personal approach to leadership
Personally, I want my employees to see me more as a colleague than as a manager, and in my opinion good leadership is not detail-driven leadership. I believe that it is important to have a personal approach to leadership, and to be there for your employees by coaching, motivating, and inspiring them. I think this is the key to getting everyone to perform optimally according to their own conditions.
What do you like most about your job?
What I like most about my job is the customer contact and product development. To get an idea to become a reality and to follow the development along the way, I like that!

What's the next step for MyStamp?
The next step for MyStamp is to leave the MVP phase completely behind and to move from a startup to an organization. When it comes to the development, the next step is to launch a MyStamp store, where our customers will, among other things, have the opportunity to subscribe to the company's services through, for example, coffee subscriptions.
What's the big goal of MyStamp?
The big goal is to build a product in the form of a loyalty program that suits all companies in Sweden, and the rest of Europe. If we think a few years ahead, the hope is to be listed on the stock exchange or to be acquired by some globally operating company.
Give us your best tips when it comes to starting a business!
Just do it! Do not hesitate, dare to take a chance. Try to sell the product / service and see what interest there is in it and if you get an encouraging response, just get started!
