Meet Jie...
In honor of Women's History Month, meet Jie Dai , a talented landscape designer who exhibits the determination and excellence of women in their fields. Jie joined the 2IM Group in 2021 as an experienced landscape designer, bringing over nine years of expertise with her in landscape and urban design. She plays a?crucial role in various projects in collaboration with the Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Transportation, Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, as well as various municipalities within the Chicagoland region. Her contributions have been critical to major projects such as the Urban Tree Canopy Restoration project, including the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) and Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Landscaping Improvements. Jie's skills include landscape and urban design, 2D/3D sketching and modeling, plant and construction knowledge, cost estimation, and landscape plan reviews.
What project are you working on right now??
Two of the projects I am currently involved in are Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Landscaping Improvements and the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) EW2 Landscaping and Drainage Improvements.?I am responsible for:

What's your biggest accomplishment while working at 2IM??
My biggest accomplishment at 2IM has been the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of landscape and environmental projects across all phases. This experience has broadened my expertise and allowed me to contribute effectively to each project's success.?

What do you like to do in your free time??
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and exploring new places through travel. These activities allow me to relax, recharge, and get inspiration from nature, as well as appreciate the world from different viewpoints.?
