Meet Ishu Tayal,?Software Engineering Manager. Ishu joined us at a time when his team was already in place, but he played a pivotal role in raising the bar in his team and subsequently went-on to lead new teams for us.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Upland?

A: I am Ishu Tayal, an Engineering Manager working for Upland, for 2 years. My roles and responsibilities include Team/Leadership Management, Project Management, Technical Oversight, Strategic Planning, Process Improvement, Quality Assurance and many more.?

Q: What inspired you to join our team?

A: Frankly there were many things that inspired me like Company Culture and Values, Career Growth and Development, Company’s Reputation and Achievements, Role-Specific Factors as the role was aligning with my skills and Interests, Team and Leadership as the way I was approached during and after the Interview.

Q: What are some of your key responsibilities in your current role?

A: As I highlighted above my key roles and responsibilities include Team/Leadership Management, Project Management, Technical Oversight, Strategic Planning, Process Improvement, Quality Assurance and many more.

Q: How has your career progressed since joining Upland? What have been your key learnings?

A: Truly, my experience as an Engineering Manager has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve grown both as a leader and a strategic thinker, and I’ve learned to navigate the complexities of managing diverse teams and projects while contributing to the company’s success.
