Meet the IMAPS Nordic Board 2022: Part 2 - Terho

After Part 1 of our board presentation series you all know Paul Collander . Even though, we are quite confident that most of you have already met him at IMAPS events.

Part 2 is dedicated, again to one of our longest serving member and Honorary Member Terho Kutilainen . If you have had any financial questions with IMAPS Nordic we are sure you know him.

IMAPS Nordic Board 2022: Terho Kutilainen

I joined IMAPS Nordic Board in 1997 but I have participated IMAPS events and been member for over 35 years. I was the Treasurer of IMAPS Nordic 1997-2017, then a Board Member till 2022. After that I?continue supporting the Board and the society as an Honorary Member of IMAPS Nordic. The work in the IMAPS worldwide community has been rewarding by giving a lot of international contacts and a great window to the microelectronics and packaging industry and research.

After retiring I will not work actively in the electronics field but if something very interesting appears, I may still participate in some projects. My background is in the ceramic technologies, applications and manufacturing, and during the last two decades novel technologies in general. I hope IMAPS Nordic can adapt to the change we have seen in the packaging industry and develop its role as a society for the players of both the industry and academia.
