Chris Traynor - VP Corporate Operations & Efficiency. Toronto, Canada
The 'Efficienciado' & CT Scanner
Chris thrives on work-life balance. Before Snipp, he worked in the entertainment and world of big box retailers, where long hours often robbed him of "personal adventures." Now, Chris, an 'efficienciado' continuously looks for ways to make operations smoother so people can complete their work faster and spend more time doing things that matter to them.
As vice president of corporate operations and efficiency at Snipp, Chris wears multiple hats. His team's work impacts the entire organization, its systems, and the vendor ecosystem. Internally, the joke is that?Chris?Traynor's organization runs Snipp's?CT Scan!?
He believes that much of his resilience at work comes from the four years he spent completing his MBA while working full-time. Through those years, he also got married (twice to the same lady, thanks to COVID), moved houses, and welcomed his first child into the world. Phew!
After his kids, Chris is most inspired by the people and the opportunities at Snipp. Compared to other larger companies he's worked at, Chris finds that at Snipp, he has far more space to expand his diverse expertise and make a larger organizational impact.
Dad, Author & Wine-lover
Despite his many achievements, for Chris, there is no bigger one than “being a dad.” What’s hidden from his resume is that he’s the author of an audiobook exclusively created for his daughter, so she can “listen to her dad on the radio, anytime,” in her words. He’s currently working on the next book for his son.

When Chris isn’t working and has some quiet from his toddlers, he likes to unwind by watching ice hockey (he’s a horrible ice skater; sadly, Canadian genes didn’t help) and a glass of red Tuscan wine.
Everything is ‘figureoutable’, except...
Chris lives by the mantra that everything in life is ‘figureoutable’; the biggest obstacles are solved by taking each day as it comes and reminding oneself that stress in a particular situation is only temporary.
Except for Toronto traffic, he avoids it like the plague.

Methodical, team-oriented, reliable, and most of all ... KIND. Thanks Chris Traynor, MBA!
