Meet Greentown Labs' 24 Newest Members

Dear Friends of Greentown Labs,

We’re thrilled to introduce the 24 new climatetech startups that joined our community over the past quarter! With technologies to decarbonize the key greenhouse-gas-emitting sectors and build resilient communities, these startups are at the forefront of climate action. Here’s just some of what these newest members are working on:

  • Puro Renewables upcycles carbon-negative biowaste to reduce the amount of fossil-fuel-based resin and the carbon footprint associated with typical plastic products.?
  • Arbor is a home-energy advisor that monitors renters’ and homeowners’ energy markets, getting customers the best electric rates in their areas and recommending relevant home-electrification upgrades.
  • Carbon Upcycling Technologies is a circular-decarbonization solution for hard-to-abate industries—utilizing low-purity industrial CO2 and industrial byproducts to decarbonize cement.
  • Hempitecture manufactures and distributes biobased building materials, including a low-embodied-carbon insulation.

Read about all 24 of these world-changing startups here. Want to meet some of them in person? Join Greentown Boston’s next EnergyBar on April 4, which will feature pitches from nine of our new members! If you’re an investor or corporate leader who’d like to learn more about our newest startups, please reach out to our investor program or partnerships program.

As always, thank you for your commitment to climate action!

Warmly,

The Greentown Team
