- Tell us about your engineering education and experience to date?I studied Environmental Civil Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University for four years and came to Will Rudd straight out of university as a Graduate Engineer. I've only been with the company for a few months and I'm looking forward to developing my knowledge and skillset in my new role. The friendly and welcoming environment at Will Rudd has enabled me to have settled in very quickly and feels like I have been a part of the team for much longer than I have.
- Have you got any specific technical areas that you are passionate about?I have a particular passion for environmental civil engineering and transportation. I've also had the opportunity to work on many projects involving sustainable urban drainage systems while working with a civils team in Edinburgh.
- How do you feel about joining Will Rudd in Edinburgh? Will Rudd is an extremely approachable and flexible company, this has allowed me to continue to coach tennis which has been an interest of mine outside of engineering for many years. As a woman in engineering, Will Rudd has put my worries to rest about entering a still male dominated industry, as it is a company filled with very friendly people and from day one you are welcomed and made to feel like part of the family.
