Vegware brings a sustainable solution to the problem of plastic food packaging.

While as consumers we may not realise this but our daily take-away mugs from our favourite coffee chains, food boxes, ... all contribute to a colossal amount of non-biodegradable plastic waste.

To counter this, Joe started Vegware back in 2006. Joe Frankel invested his family’s savings in bioplastic resin and Vegware became a limited company in 2008. Today, Vegware employs over 50 staff and trades in 25 global markets. Vegware products are made from plant based materials, emit 72% less carbon than regular plastic packaging and are designed to break down with food waste in under 12 weeks in industrial composting, helping return nutrients to the soil.
